In short: LastFed does not collect any of your data. There is no account, no server of our own, no advertising, and no third-party analytics or tracking.
The feeds, nappies, sleep, temperatures and other records you log, your baby's details and photos are stored in the app on your phone.
If your phone is signed in to iCloud, these records sync through Apple's iCloud (a CloudKit private database) to your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account. That data lives in your own iCloud storage and is protected by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; we, the developer, cannot see or access it.
A small amount of data needed by widgets (for example, the time since the last feed) is kept in a shared app container on the same phone.
Photos you take in the app or import from your library are kept inside the app (and your iCloud) and are never written to your Photos library. The only exception is when you tap "Save to Photos" on the daily summary, which saves that one summary image.
Voice logging uses iOS on-device speech recognition. Audio and the recognised text are never sent to us or to any third party.
Feed reminders, vaccine reminders and the daily summary are local notifications on your phone and never pass through a server.
LastFed Pro is bought through Apple's In-App Purchase. Apple handles the payment and we never receive your payment details; the app only asks Apple whether your Apple Account has bought it.
The guide in the app is summarised from public information published by Australian government and public health organisations. It is for general information only, is not medical advice and does not replace a doctor, midwife or child health nurse.
Deleting the app deletes all of its data on your phone. Data in iCloud can be deleted in Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage → LastFed.
The app is meant for parents, is not directed to children, and does not collect personal information from anyone.
If our privacy practices change, we will update this page and its effective date.
